Infinite Dimensions: Unveiling Miniature Designer Jewellery & Metal Exhibition at London Desgin Festival 2023

The London Design Festival is an annual event that celebrates and promotes London as the global hub of design. This year, it took place from September 14th to 22nd, 2023. We were delighted to participate in the showrooms, where we displayed an exquisite collection of jewellery and metalwork, showing some of the remarkable craftsmanship in the UK.

At the Shoreditch Design Triangle, we presented a curated selection of designer jewellery brands that were making their debut in the UK. These brands unveiled their latest Spring/Summer 2024 collections at our showroom. Each piece was carefully chosen for its exceptional quality, captivating aesthetics, and unique features. Many of these designers are graduates from prestigious art institutions. After years of establishing their brands worldwide, they were now showcasing their creations in the UK for the very first time.

In addition to our showroom, we organized an enchanting exhibition titled "Infinite Dimensions: Unveiling Miniature." This exhibition was dedicated to showcasing small-scale art pieces, which often go unnoticed in traditional group exhibitions. We focused on highlighting the materials, craftsmanship, and intricate details of these miniature artworks. It featured the latest works of local artists, showcasing their artistic growth and innovative approaches within the past year.

Throughout the design week, we attracted visitors from various fields and industries, and we had the privilege of presenting some of our pieces on the runways of the London Fashion Week, further extending the reach of our showcased designs.

The miniature has captivated our imagination for centuries, offering a unique perspective on the world. It unlocks a multitude of possibilities, inviting us to enter a universe where size and scale are redefined. Through this exhibition, we seek to celebrate the boundless creativity, meticulous craftsmanship, and transformative power that miniatures possess. 

What is it

Alsolike is a gallery in jewellery and objects dedicated to creating a connection between art objects and everyday life. With a focus on craftsmanship, materials, structure and texture, the shop discovers and supports independent designer brands with an elegant and unique style that aims to be a filter for customers when choosing jewellery, accessories and homeware.
